Rough Description:

This volume features the CV of Subaru (Noted as Yuusuke below) and the CV of Ryuzu (Note as Aimi below)

They talked about that Aimi was actually the CV of the green haired girl (the daughter of the apple seller) from the 1st episode of season 1. And Aimi felt nervous while voicing both characters at the first time. (Which means she felt nervous while voicing the girl for the first time and also felt nervous while voicing Ryuzu after that.) Also, Yuusuke thinks the first time that Re:Zero has the same voice actor playing 2 characters (Actually Takahashi Rie voiced both Emilia and Satella (Satella already said something in season 1) , so I think he missed it?)

And when they first saw the design of Ryuzu, who is actually an old “woman”, Aimi was concerning “Could she be more “granny” like please) and could not figure if she was a loli or an old woman.
Yuusuke felt amazed about Ryuzu’s design since she is an old woman with the skin of a little girl (幼女), but she made him feel comforted since Garfiel just always yells to him with the “GagaGaga” voice, and Ryuzu acts as a mediator between Subaru and Garfiel.

And then they talked about while the mystery of Sanctuary is still unsolved, episode 35 covered about Ryuzu, about their background, what people they are, what they have become as creatures already living in 400 years ago.

When Mr.Tappei (The original creator of Re:Zero) was supervising the animation, he just said “Just try to put Ryuzu in it.” (I think he meant he wouldn’t give any advice, just let the staff of the animation handle her) , making Aimi felt surprised after Yuusuke paraphrasing Mr.Tappei’s words to her.

Since Ryuzu acts differently along the various times of “Returning By Death”, she acted kindly this time since Subaru is “The apostle of Witch” (魔女の使徒). And because Ryuzu’s mission is to protect the Sanctuary while Subaru and his allies has to liberate the Sanctuary, it will be fun to see what will Ryuzu act next.
