Absolutely love how the anime doesn’t use the opening and the ending as often for extra minutes. And when they do use the ending, they just use it in the background. Masterpiece.

This song’s magical, in the same kind of way as Paradisus Paradoxum. I don’t know how to describe it, but the closest any other music has felt to it would be Susumu Hirasawa or NieR’s music. I feel so at ease listening to this stuff, yet it feels otherworldly or foreign.

Very fitting music for Re:Zero.

Personally, I think re:zero handles ops and endings the best out of any anime. While others put it in because its the popular thing to do, the guys behind re:zero use it to signify plot or character revelations. It’s what gives the series such memorable songs. Not because only because they’re good, but because they’re used to further enhance the show.

before watching re zero, i had thought that subaru was a pathetic character. but he is a pretty great character who doesnt even have any special powers and goes through all kinds of traumatizing experiences seeing his most loved ones getting brutally murdered and shit

I still don’t get why Re:Zero is not getting recognition. It’s one of the best animes of all time. Subaru being one of the best and realistic male isekai protagonists,unlike others who are over powered.

for some reason the little piano riffs at 0:09 and 1:19 make the song complete. Like i feel like the song wouldnt be the same without them. Like it adds a little layer of depth to the song. Cant wait for S2 Pt2 in Jan

I remember having a nightmare of being able to return by death so yeah it’s kinda long
The situation was this:
My house was about to get invaded by murderers and my family killed and I had to find a way out.
It started as I saw the invaders walk into my garden, and I was upstairs in my room seeing them from my window
I rushed to tell that we are in danger to my family and they were like: “w a t” and they ended up killed and I tried to run away but they were waiting for me and so I died

The next time I tried only getting my sister and brother cause they were with me in my room, we tried to jump from my window (on the second floor 0-0) and while trying to do that they found us and we tried to hold the door but they got in so we died-

3rd time we tried faster and we made it to the street, it was winter and we tried to get many peoples attention but they ignored us and we tried hiding amongst them but the killers found us and we ran.. my siblings didn’t make it but I managed to climb onto a bus but they did the same on another one.. then they got me down and im ded.. all of those deaths had surprisingly weird effects, like: I didn’t breathe for like: 10 seconds, and just feel weird and it kinda hurt

The 4th time we tried carefully climbing trough my dormer and we made it onto the roof but the invaders found us and we fell down the roof it was very scary istg.

The next time i was so terrified and tired i just hid with them in my closet… they walked in the room and searched for us it was HELLA SCARY. They found us.. the closet now was drenched in blood.

Next time: i was so tired, heavy, I just gave up.. i walked onto the roof and jumped down, I couldn’t escape this nightmare..

Soo yeah I woke up then feeling the adrenaline I think it was hella scary living just a small bit of what Subaru suffered, and after just these times dying made me so terrified I can’t even imagine living in that nightmare so long like Subaru does.. god bless him
